It is found in mid tree canopies of forest areas. This bird is commonly found in Bukit Timah Nature Reserve and MacRitchie resevoir in Singapore.It has a sky blue plumage and the size and shape of an oriole.It can be seen darting around after insects from a favoured perch. It also feeds on wild figs and berries and is fond of flower nectar. It may be seen black in colour under strong rays of sunlight.
